We provide children, families, and communities with the support in education and youth programs. Our goal is to promote, advance and cultivate a generation of well balanced children and young adults. Our means to accomplish this goal is to provide children and their families with counseling, educational support, athletics, and mentorship year-round. We strongly rely on our partners, your donations and the support of our volunteers.

Our non-profit organization was founded based on college experiences in Ethnic Studies and Sociology. We held fundraising events, fashion shows, potlucks, and food drives. We created A Solid Foundation in 1991 with the vision of supporting students in the advancement of their education through academic and athletic opportunities. Our educational program is focused on building the future of our children, as they are the next generation of physicians, innovators, and high achievers.
A Solid Foundation 4 R Kids offers a simple, rapid, and effortless approach to donating. We provide a public service that sends a steady stream of income directly to our charitable partners through the donation of your cars, boats, and RVs. Cars are our primary source of support, allowing us to give to our communities and throughout the United States. We also accept real estate, land, homes, and buildings; there are so many ways to give.
Processing all donations in-house ensures that all proceeds from each donation is transferred directly to our partners and their foundations.

Our vision is to uplift children, families, and neighborhoods through education, mentorship, athletics, and year-round youth programs. With the help of partners, donors, and volunteers, we give kids the support they need to thrive.
